SlideWalker – turn your presentation into a 2D-platformer

Last Friday we had presentations in class at the master program and one of my students presented reflections about how to learn about a game engine. It followed a path many of us have experienced – going through online tutorials etc. But what really caught my attention was the presentation itself. It was presented using the game itself! The game and level design WAS the presentation! Can’t remember that I’ve seen exactly that before, but an idea immediately popped up in my mind. What if I can turn my old boring slides (yes, I still have those) into 2D game levels. So me and my clanker friend Claude got cooking over the weekend. The result is something that actually seems to work surprisingly well – you may now use your keyboard or an Xbox controller to present your pptx/odp/pdf slides: SlideWalker
